2021 Dr. Laura Boyd Champion for Children & Families

National Advocate of the Year Award

For nearly two decades, FFTA members and sector partners have gathered in Washington DC to advocate, learn, and share at the annual Public Policy Institute. Dr. Laura Boyd spearheaded these impactful events for years, as just one of her many contributions to FFTA and our sector. Dr. Boyd is truly a Champion for Children & Families. Although Dr. Boyd has retired from her work at FFTA, she remains a dear friend and inspiration to us all. As such we recognize her spirit, tenacity, and dedication to this important work by announcing our Call for Nominations for the 2021 Dr. Laura Boyd Champion for Children & Families National Advocate of the Year Award.

We welcome nominations for those who have demonstrated Dr. Boyd’s spirit of advocacy by advancing social policy in the fields of child welfare, family well-being and/or children’s behavioral health during the last year.
