for Children in partnership with Georgia’s Supreme Court Child Placement
Project, DHR-Division of Children and Family Services, and the
Department of Juvenile Justice begin planning for the 2nd Annual Child Placement Conference – “From Surviving to
Thriving”. This year’s conference
will be held on November 14-16 in
Savannah at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center.
WHO ATTENDS THIS CONFERENCE?
Last year’s conference was attended by
over 900 DFCS placement workers, juvenile court personnel, and private
providers and this year’s conference promises to be even larger. This is a great opportunity for you to reach
a large and diverse audience, including new and experienced DHR placement
staff, supervisors, resource development staff, independent living staff, DJJ
caseworkers, administrators, juvenile court judges and attorneys, private
providers.
FROM SURVIVING TO THRIVING
The conference will address the unique
challenge faced by professionals in all areas of the children and family
services field – how to go beyond simply maintaining and meeting minimum
standards and look for innovative ways to collaborate with others in the system
to achieve success for children and families.
Working alone, we may feel overwhelmed, but working together, we can
achieve success.

All conference sponsors will be recognized in printed materials
pertaining to the conference and through on-site signage, and announcements in
the conference portfolios. Specific
sponsorship levels and opportunities are outlined below:
Gold
Sponsorship - $5,000
Sponsor can
choose to sponsor the networking reception, one of three lunches at the
conference, or the goody bags for conference participants. Sponsors will receive:
· 2 free conference registrations
· A table for 10 at the front of the room for the opening or closing
luncheon
· A free exhibit table
· Recognition as a gold sponsor in the conference brochure and all
promotional materials
· Recognition on prominent signage at the conference
· *Goody bag sponsors will be permitted to put their name and logo
on the back of the conference bags.
Silver
Sponsorship - $2,500
Sponsor can
choose to sponsor the keynote address or one of two continental breakfasts at
the conference. Sponsors will receive:
· 1 free conference registration
· A free exhibit table
· Recognition as a silver sponsor in the conference brochure and all
promotional materials
· Recognition on prominent signage at the conference
Bronze
Sponsorship - $1,000
Includes
sponsorship of one conference break.
Sponsors will receive:
· A free exhibit table
· Recognition as a bronze sponsor in the conference brochure and all
promotional materials
· Recognition on prominent signage at the conference
Conference
Host - $500
Your
sponsorship will be used to support general conference expenses. Sponsors will receive:
