Please join us as the Georgia Association of Homes and Services for Children in partnership with DHR-Division of Family and Children Services, MATCH, Georgia CASA, The Supreme Court of Georgia Child Placement Project, and the Department of Juvenile Justice begin planning for the 3rd Annual Child Placement Conference – “Special Forces for Children and Families”. This year’s conference will be held on October 2-4, 2002 in Peachtree City at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center.

This conference is the largest multi-disciplinary gathering of child welfare professionals in Georgia. This is a great opportunity for you to reach a large and diverse audience, including new and experienced DHR placement staff, supervisors, resource development staff, independent living staff, DJJ case managers, administrators, juvenile court judges and attorneys, private providers, and community volunteers.

The conference theme, “Special Forces for Children and Families”, was chosen to reflect that while each agency and service provider possess unique talents and methods of serving children, collaboration between these “forces” is necessary to successfully serve the entire family. The mission of this conference is to help each participant develop more knowledge in their specialized area, as well as broaden their perspective in other areas of children and family services.

The professionals attending this conference represent almost every sector of Georgia’s child welfare system and a broad range of programs and services. They are constantly striving to improve service provision through innovative products and services that help their organizations enhance the quality and effectiveness of their programs. Exhibiting affords your organization an opportunity to reach a large and diverse audience. The cost of exhibiting is $500 per booth.
