This is a list of licensed providers who are approved to complete the State of Georgia First Placement Best Placement Comprehensive Child and Family assessment. All providers must comply with the Minimum Standards for Child and Family Assessments - Form #65.
Provisional Providers - NO LONGER LISTED
Provisional providers are no longer included on this list. The provisional provider list is maintained at the state Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) Foster Care Unit. Provisional providers are approved to do only two complete comprehensive assessments.
Providers on this list are approved to provide all services under the First Placement, Best Placement program including comprehensive child and family assessments, wrap around services and adolescent assessments.
Counties and providers may contact any agency/ individual on this list. Counties are expected to check this list and only sign Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with providers on this list. Providers may serve various counties in a geographical area and may service more than just the area listed.
