     Description Information:

The Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS), is seeking proposals from qualified suppliers to provide the Secret Santa Program Coordination services described within this eRFP. The Secret Santa Program is an annual program sponsored by Clark Howard and WSB broadcasting. The program supplies toys and electronics to over 7,500 children in Georgia's Foster Care Program throughout the state. The fundraising events raise donations and gifts worth millions of dollars for children who have submitted wish lists across the state. The Successful Supplier will be required to work within the parameters of the WSB advertising and fundraising schedule in December. Toys donated at each event will have to be transported to a secure warehouse and stored until time for distribution. The Successful Supplier must store all donated toys, electronics, etc. in a secure storage facility which is large enough from which to run this statewide program. The Successful Supplier must have sufficient staff to package toys, etc. for each child, and to distribute these packages statewide to the DFCS case managers who will deliver the packages to the children. Interested Suppliers should review all instructions and attachments prior to completing the cost sheet and submitting a proposal.
