FFY2017 Promoting Safe and Stable Families Program
Statement of Need
The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services, a division of the DHS, is pleased to announce the release date of a funding opportunity for family-serving, non-profit agencies and public entities through its Promoting Safe and Stable Families (PSSF) program. PSSF provides funding for community-based services to children and families who may be at risk for child abuse and neglect or have had confirmed reports of child abuse and neglect and are involved with the state’s child welfare agency. Funding is also available for services and supports that promote and support adoptions and other permanency options.

will be posted and available for download at www.pssfnet.com under the Funding Opportunities tab.
Mandatory Bidders Meeting: Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 10:00am – 3:00pm

All agencies interested in submitting a proposal for FFY2017 PSSF funding must send a representative
to the Bidders Meeting. Applicants are required to submit proposals electronically.
Usernames and passwords used to upload proposals will only be available at the Bidders Meeting.
Proposal Submission Deadline: Tuesday, May 3, 2016, 12:00 NOON EDT
Proposals must be submitted electronically, as directed in SoN, and received in their entirety by the deadline.
Contract Period: October 1, 2016 – September 30, 2017
