JUSTGeorgia Institute Invitation

You’re Invited! On behalf of the JUSTGeorgia Coalition we are requesting your presence at the JUSTGeorgia Institute on June 8th, 2016 at the University of Georgia, Griffin Campus.  We need your voice to be part of this critical conversation with leaders from across the state of Georgia.
Founded in 2006, the JUSTGeorgia Coalition is a leadership driven network that has championed juvenile justice policies, laws and services based on best practices.  The purpose of JUSTGeorgia is to support a long-term coalition that will advocate, monitor, and report on the conditions, laws, and policies that affect the justice and safety and social welfare of Georgia’s young people.  The coalition played a significant role in passage of the Juvenile Code Reform in Georgia in 2013.

Building on a series of 2016 JUSTGeorgia Community Conversations, the Institute will convene partners from across the state to explore how we can use our collective impact to advance juvenile and social justice in Georgia.

At the meeting you will have the opportunity to:

·      Learn about current policy developments and access points at the local, state and federal level

·      Help the JUSTGeorgia coalition prioritize social and juvenile justice statewide issues

·      Explore future models of statewide collaboration and learn about opportunities for collaboration and leadership

The meeting will feature a cross-section of leaders, including community activists, government officials, policy experts, faith leaders, and many others with a passion for the young people of Georgia.

June 8, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (EDT)
