GA DFCS Requests Your Input on Proposed Strategic Action Plan

Good afternoon,

The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) is committed to the safety, self-sufficiency and well-being of Georgia’s most vulnerable citizens in decisions made and actions taken. Part of this commitment includes the establishment of the 2016-2018 Strategic Plan for the Division which allows us to operationalize our efforts towards achieving safety, permanency, self-sufficiency and well-being for children, individuals and families. The process for developing this strategic plan began with the guidelines provided by the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget and culminated with the input of leadership and staff. Now, we would like to engage our stakeholders before the plan is finalized and submitted to the Governor.

We are excited to partner with our stakeholders in the development of this plan since many of the goals and objectives relate directly to our constituent engagement. Please take a moment to review the attached plan and provide your feedback via the survey questions accessible in the link below. The survey will close on Friday, May 27, 2016. We thank you for your thoughtful review and response!
