Weekly Update April 1, 2016

together-georgia1.png

Now that the 2016 legislative session has come to an end our focus can return to other important issues. Coming up in April are two meaningful provider events. On April 22 there will be a Practice Matters meeting with DFCS and RCCL in Macon at Hephzibah. And on April 26 - 27 will be the Together Georgia Executive Retreat at WinShape Conference Center.

I hope you and the senior staff from your organization are planning to attend these events.  See below for registration information and the exciting agenda for our retreat. This a great opportunity to network with your colleagues and other stakeholders from around the state in a relaxed setting Also it provides you a chance to get caught up on current initiatives and policies that impact your services.

As always, let us know how best we can serve you in the important work you are doing serving Georgia’s children, youth and families. - Ron Scroggy
