The Georgia Conference on Children and Families is the largest annual interdisciplinary event in Georgia designed to bring together the community that serves children and families.The conference will feature specialized tracks, plenary sessions and networking opportunities with the goal of improving outcomes for the children and families that we serve.This conference includes a full spectrum of disciplines and organizations serving Georgia’s children and families which includes child advocacy, juvenile justice, social service, education, legal counsel and the faith-based community. The conference provides a forum to improve competencies, learn from experts in the field and network with other professionals who have a wealth of experience.Please mark your calendar for this important event.

Trends in Child Welfare Policy and Practice in Georgia

Together Georgia Provider Alliance in collaboration with The University of Georgia J. W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development  offers the following training.  This session will highlight trends in child welfare practice and policy presented by Tripp Jones, LaShaunda Daniel, and Frances Atwater from the Georgia Department of Human Services. Prudent Parenting, updates in Independent Living Programs, and Solution Based Casework will be highlighted.

Please note Together Georgia has a Job Bank to which TG members may post notices on the website at www.togetherga.net  The system is new and members will need to log in with user name and password that was previously provided to member agency directors - user name is the first initial and last name of agency director; password, if forgotten may be reset - reset will go to the agency director's inbox. 

SALARY SURVEY  remains open - response from each member agency is requested.   TG members are requesting updated salary survey information. We are inching along and need a significant number of responses in order to be meaningful (20 agencies responded to date). The individual results will be confidential and sorted for distribution.
