Welfare Watch - July 13, 2010 - Georgia's Revenue Numbers Improve

The Governor's Office announced today the first good news in months on increased revenues for Georgia. Tax collections were up 3.8 percent over the same time last year. The month of June concludes FY10, which saw a 9.1 percent decrease in revenue.

We hope that this represents a continuing improvement in the economy and revenues for the State of Georgia.
