Provider Watch - May 31, 2011 - Privatization Survey
Government realizes that it can not do it alone. It needs communities to share the load, provide the expertise and more importantly the passion for the work. Privatization is here to stay and is moving everyday more into child welfare.
The National Quality Improvement Center on the Privatization of Child Welfare Services, the Child Welfare League of America, and the Alliance for Children and Families are cosponsoring the first national study of private child and family serving agencies. This study is designed to provide the first portrait of privately-provided child and family services across state child welfare systems. This study will strongly support our advocacy efforts to improve services to children and families, and will highlight our agencies’ essential contributions across the nation.
We strongly encourage you to participate in this study. It is important that only one representative of your agency complete the survey. The survey may be completed by an agency administrator or program director with knowledge of the agency’s operations, funding, and service array. Feel free to forward this to the agency staff person with the most comprehensive information in these areas.
Simply click here (or cut and paste this into your browser: http://qmsweb.louisville.edu/blue/a.aspx?l=1134_1_AAAAAAAAI6c ) to participate. The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, and the information you provide will be held confidentially. Once all surveys are analyzed, we will distribute a report summarizing study findings via this listserv. Please complete the survey by June 18. If you have any questions regarding this study, contact Dr. Crystal Collins-Camargo at crystal.collinscamargo@louisville.edu or (502)852-3174.
Thank you in advance for participating in this critical study.
Sincerely,
Crystal Collins-Camargo Chris James-Brown Polina Makievsky Normer Adams
