Welfare Watch - June 27, 2011 - GCCF Call for Presentations

The GCCF Planning Committee is inviting experienced presenters to submit proposals for workshops at the Georgia Conference on Children and Families scheduled November 15-17, 2011 at the Marietta Conference Center.

The Georgia Conference on Children and Families is the largest annual multidisciplinary event in Georgia designed to bring together the community that serves children and families. The conference will feature specialized tracks, plenary sessions and networking opportunities with the goal of improving outcomes for the children and families that we serve. This conference includes a full spectrum of disciplines and organizations serving Georgia’s children and families which includes child advocacy, juvenile justice, social service, education, and the faith-based community. The conference provides a forum to improve competencies, learn from experts in the field and network with other professionals who have a wealth of experience.

Presentations should offer information on best practices, techniques, models, and training methods for experience agency staff with clinical, administrative, supervisory, managerial, training or research and evaluations responsibilities. We invite you to share your expertise in the form of a presentation to this year’s attendees and encourage you to submit  your proposal by July 22, 2011. Click here for additional information and application.

Please direct questions to office@georgiachild.org or (404) 572-6170.
