INTERACTIVE PLENARY,
ENGAGING FATHERS - Wednesday, November 19
The purpose of the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services
Region XIV Fatherhood Unit is to provide fathers with community
supports that will help them realize the most that fatherhood has to
offer. The Engaging Fathers presentation consists of a panel of
experts who will share the struggles and successes of parenting -
common, everyday fathers. This 5-member panel come from various
backgrounds (low-income to affluent) with various educational levels
(GED to post-Master's degree). However, the common thread that
unites these fathers is that they love and provide for their
children. Their stories about their journey through fatherhood will
leave you in absolute amazement!
