UTILIZING THE EXTREME RECRUITMENT AND 30 DAYS TO FAMILY PROGRAM PHILOSOPHIES TO FIND HOMES
Extreme Recruitment, pioneered by the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, targets the “hardest to place” children in foster care.  This program works only with children ages 10-18 (and their siblings) who have been in out-of-home care for over 15 months and are in need of permanency.  30 Days to Family, also created by the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, was born out of the philosophies of Extreme Recruitment.  30 Days to Family assists the foster care case manager in searching for appropriate relatives/kin within 30 days of a child entering the foster care system. These programs utilize simple ideas with strengths-based philosophies to create amazing results both by the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition and replicating agencies across the country.  Come learn the information needed to get started!
