Congress will vote soon on final passage of the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), including the McKinney-Vento Act's Education for Homeless Children and Youth program. The compromise between the House and Senate bills passed the House-Senate conference committee on Thursday, November 19 by a vote of 39-1, clearing the way for bi-partisan, bi-cameral action. The compromise bill, called the "Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015," strengthens identification, school access, school stability, and support for children and youth experiencing homelessness.  This webinar will provide information on the provisions of the legislation related to homelessness and foster care, as well as updates on the process and prospects for final passage and enactment.

This webinar will be offered on the two dates below. As the content for both is identical, PLEASE REGISTER FOR ONLY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING DATES.

We expect these webinars to fill up; therefore, we will record and archive the webinars for those who cannot join us.
