Training Update January 29, 2015 - Improving the Lives of Children through Healthy Couple Relationships and Stable Homes

From University of Georgia College of Family & Consumer Sciences

Improving the Lives of Children through Healthy Couple Relationships and Stable Homes: The Healthy Relationship and Marriage Education Training.

Since 2011, UGA Extension has prepared nearly 500 professionals to teach healthy relationship skills to clients. We are proud to announce five trainings scheduled for 2015!

A healthy couple and co-parenting relationship is linked to more positive parenting, stable families, and healthier children. The Healthy Relationship and Marriage Education Training (HRMET) was originally developed, with funding from the Administration on Children, Youth and Families Children's Bureau, to meet the safety, permanency, and well-being needs of vulnerable children in the child welfare system by increasing access to and implementation of relationship and marriage education.

This training is ideal for all professionals who work with youth and adults in Georgia and wish to promote healthy couple and co-parenting relationships.  During this 1-day training, participants will receive tools and learn strategies to empower individuals with skills that can strengthen couple and family relationships.

Choose a training date and location that works best for you. Bring a colleague and save! Space for each training is limited, so register early!
