Criminal Records Checks

Child Caring Institutions
and
Day Care Centers

Code Sections 49-5-60-67

Child Care Institutions, child placing agencies and Day Care Centers may have preliminary records checks done for employees by their local law enforcement agency.  The Director must have his check done through the Department of Human Resources and can not be hired until such time that it is completed.

Criminal Records Checks Cards can be obtained from the

Office of Regulatory Services.
