The
Georgia Association of Homes and Services for Children and the Department
of Human Resources have been working together to begin a review all
aspects of In-Home/Family Preservation
services. A joint taskforce made up of providers and DHR staff has
been established to oversee this task. The Taskforce will be seeking
input and comments from all sides as specific issues are developed for
review. The goal is to develop best practice standards, oversight
and accountability, outcomes and funding methodology that is mutually
acceptable to both the Department and the providers. The documents that
will be posted on this page will represent the man-hours that both private
providers and the public sector devote to this production.
These
documents will represent a "work in progress" and in no way is represented
to be a final product. All providers, whether members of GAHSC or
not, are welcomed the contribute to the process. Comments can be sent to:
