Approved Emergency Intervention Training Curricula Early in the fall of 2006, the Office of Regulatory Services introduced new Behavioral Management rules for all licensed residential agencies, including psychiatric residential treatment facilities, child caring institutions, and child placing agencies. All licensed programs are to have in place behavioral management training programs to address crisis intervention, and the use of seclusion and restraints. All training programs must be approved by ORS before they can be used by licensed agencies. ORS is presently in the process of reviewing and approving nationally recognized training programs. The programs listed below have been approved as of date. This list will be always updated on the GAHSC website. Updated: 01/20/10 06:04 AM -0500 The following training programs have been approved based on the applications and training materials they submitted. Other training programs are still are being reviewed by the Department. They will update this list as other programs are added to the approved list.
