Provider Watch -
January 31, 2012 _ Cost Report Training
DHS Cost Repot
Training Announcement:
Dear Providers:
Cost report training sessions will be held on Tuesday,
February 7, 2012, and on Wednesday, February 8,
2012, at the DHS training facility in Macon.
Tuesday's sessions are 8:30 - 10:00 (CCI), 10:30 - 12:00
(CPA), 1:00 - 2:30 (CCI) and 3:00 - 4:30 (CPA).
Wednesday's sessions are 8:30 - 10:00 (CPA), 10:30 - 12:00 (CCI),
1:00 - 2:30 (CCI) and 3:00 - 5:00 (First Time Attendees only - CCI
and/or CPA).
Any exemption request to this training must be indicated in the
training enrollment template. Approval of said request will be made
on a provider-by-provider basis and will hinge on completeness and
correctness of previously submitted cost reports. This training will
be the last sessions covering cost reporting for your 2011 fiscal
year. Seating will be limited in each session and priority will be
given to those providers whose fiscal year ended December 31, 2011,
or earlier. However, there will be a few seats available for
providers whose fiscal year ends after December 31, 2011. All new
RBWO providers should attend this training.
Please complete the training registration template available at
https://www.gascore.com/content/page.cfm/163/ and return to me
via e-mail by no later than Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
Session assignments will be advised by e-mail on or before Thursday,
February 2, 2012.
Note: Due to limited seating, only one (1) representative from each
provider will be afforded a session assignment. The individual
responsible for completing the cost report should be the individual
representing your organization. Remember that cost reports are due
90 days following the end of your fiscal year. Consequently, it is
imperative that you attend a cost report training session prior to
that date.
Directions and a picture of the remodeled building - somewhat of a
mustard/tan/brown exterior - are also available at
https://www.gascore.com/content/page.cfm/163/.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again,
Richard O’Neill
