Training for Healthcare Providers on the Adoption Process - Harmony Adoptions is the grantee for the Infant Adoption Training Initiative in Region IV.  Their program provides training on the adoption process to health care professionals and non-profit organizations.  Harmony's continued goal is to provide health care professionals and pregnancy counselors access to accurate adoption information and an appropriate referral base in their respective communities.  This knowledge is essential to providing complete, effective, non-directive counseling to women with an unintended pregnancy. Since 2001, Harmony has trained over 6,000 health-care professionals serving pregnant women, adolescents, and birth fathers in the Southeast.  Training is free.
