Welfare Watch - December 20, 2011 - Child Sex Abuse can happen Anywhere

In light of the scandal that has engulf Penn State, agencies that serve children and youth are reminded that they need to be ever vigilant for predators in their midst.  Agencies can protect themselves from those who are there not to serve but to do harm.  The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has an excellent guide to best practices for preventing sexual abuse in youth serving institutions.
