An Invite - A Conversation about Improving Well-Being
Measures for Children in the Child Welfare System
Family Programs, the Supreme Court Committee on Justice for

Please join us for a conversation on the roles providers can
play in improving the well-being measures for the children in
the child welfare system, with a special focus on Cold Case
This conversation is being hosted by Casey Family Programs,
the Supreme Court Committee on Justice for Children, and the
Division of Family and Children Services in partnership with

10:00 am - Greetings, introductions, and
discussion about what we hope to get from day's meeting
10:30 am - Dr. Page Walley of Casey Family
Programs will guide a discussion on complex trauma, adverse
childhood experience score; what does the science say?
11am to 12:30 pm - Please participate in a
facilitated discussion about traditional law enforcement
response to a child with a high ACE score.
12:30 pm - Lunch!
1:30 pm to 2:30 pm - Full discussion about
alternative solutions to controlling bad, maladaptive
behavior of children in our child welfare system
